Happy March my loves! We are getting so close to Spring and I couldn't be more excited about it. We've had some absolutely beautiful days lately, so I decided to get a head start on a few transitional looks for next season. Here's a quick little story about this outfit. Last week I went into the city for some drinks and wore something very similar to this. I had on the skirt and boots with a front tie shirt tucked in and no hat. You might have seen it on my Snapchat. I really liked the look so I decided to wear it again and shoot it for the blog. A couple of days ago I put it back on, but this time wore a boyfriend blazer on top since it was chilly and windy outside. To be honest I was not really in the shooting mood and we ended up taking the photos as the daylight was slipping away. Let's just say I wasn't feeling the photos or myself at all and I think the blazer actually took away from the outfit. So literally the next day, Sunday, the temps shot up to 60 and I felt super inspired. Crazy how the weather can have such an affect on our mood! It was the perfect opportunity to try this look out one more time. I ditched the original shirt and blazer and added on one of my favorite mock neck sweaters, a fab statement necklace and of course, my wide brim hat. Let's just say this one was the winner!
Front button skirts really took over the fashion industry this past year. They're so versatile and chic. I've actually got a little collection growing from denim ones to faux suede and now corduroy. I think this one just might be my favorite though. I love how well the color of the skirt pairs with the leopard print. Are you tired of seeing these OTK boots yet? I've lost count of how many times I have worn them. Hands down they've been the best boots that I have ever owned and are most definitely a new staple in my wardrobe. I'm sure you will continue to see them at least a few more times before we switch seasons. ;)
Hope you are all having a great week so far and may this be an amazing month everyone!
