Layered Up

I brought back one of my all time favorite coats from last winter season.  To be honest I completely forgot about it.  I did a huge closet clean out recently and was so happy when I found this.  I first wore it during fashion week last Feb and was looking forward to styling it again in a new way. ;)

What I'm Wearing
Coat: Desigual [old] | Sweater: Charlotte Russe [similar] | Denim: HUE
Boots: Stuart Weitzman [similar here & here] | Bag: H&M [old] | Scarf: H&M [love this]

If you live on the East Coast, then you have literally felt the same cold air as me.  It is most definitely time to bundle up right now.  I'm trying to get used to it again because it's going to be even colder when I am in Sweden next month!  I guarantee I will be wearing 10 layers and someone is going to have to roll me around.  I've actually got on three layers with this look.  I always wear a solid colored long sleeve tee underneath all of my sweaters.  It's such a simple thing to do, but not everyone does it.  Cold air can easily seep through the little holes in sweaters. I just stocked up on a couple of long sleeve tees from Target & Gap Factory.

This coat is such a statement piece on its own, so I really wanted to keep it as the focal point of this outfit.  I stuck with black on top and went with dark denim leggings. [So comfy] The finishing touch were my OTK boots. I seriously love how these work so well with everything this season. They made this look a lot more chic and of course they helped keep me warm too. :)

Have a fab Wednesday!
