Happy Monday babes.  I'm so ready for this new week and hope that you are too!

One of my favorite looks this time of year is a pair of printed shorts with a crop top and boyfriend blazer.  It's got both a chic and somewhat laid back feel to it.  Tropical prints, especially palm trees, are such a big trend right now and it's definitely a refreshing alternative from all of the florals.  Although, I still can never resist my floral! As you can see, I was not lying when I said that crop tops are a staple piece for me during the spring and summer months.  I've worn this one and my black one numerous times already over the past few weeks.  I've always been one to keep it simple up top and more of a statement on the bottom half of my outfits.  I'm not quite sure why that usually happens, but I think it's always been easier for me to find bottoms.  I know I have said this before, but I struggle finding tops that I really love.  I guess I am a little picker in that department.

You all must be tired of seeing this black boyfriend blazer! [say that 5 times fast]
Sorry if you are, but actually I'm not that sorry. Ha!  It just goes with everythingggggg.  I can't help but constantly gravitate towards it.  The same goes for the bag.  I have so many others, yet I always pick this one.  Does that ever happen to any of you?  And really quick, let's talk about these shoes!  I love the lace up style and the chunkier heel.  They bring a bit of edge and funk to this look.  I'm all about them.

Thanks for checking out today's post and hope you all have a fab day!

  1. I like tropical prints too. I am on the lookout for a tropical print dress, skirt, or top. I'm the opposite as I have lots of tops but usually don't purchase many jeans, pants, or skirts.
    The blazer is super cute.
