Mixing Textures + Dynamite's Holiday Shopping Party

Outfit Details

Cardigan: Dynamite / Top: H&M / Leggings: H&M (old, similar
Booties: Franco Sarto (similar style) / Scarf: AMI Clubwear / Bag: French Connection

Some people love mixing prints, but I love mixing textures.  It's fun to play around with different pieces that you may not normally think of pairing together.  I really like the mix of knits and (faux) leather because it gives both a casual and edgy feel to the look.  I decided to wear one of my favorite long open cardigans from Dynamite with these leather leggings, which are a couple of years old.  I haven't worn them in awhile so it was fun to bring them out and wear them in a new way again.  I completed the look with booties and an infinity knit scarf.

Now on to some fun news!

I am going to be hosting a holiday shopping party at the Dynamite store in the Staten Island Mall this Thursday November 13th from 5-9pm.  I'll be giving in-store styling sessions to all guests and showcasing my top Holiday picks from Dynamite's new Holiday collection.  There will be a mystery discount given at the cashier plus a social media contest where you can win a $250 gift card by taking a photo during the party and tagging #DYNHoliday & @DynamiteStyle.  There will also be treats & gift bags too.  I hope to see some of you there!

Here's a sneak peek at their holiday collection to give you an idea of what to expect at the shopping party.

You might remember when I took my road trip to Montreal during the summer that I got to visit the Dynamite Headquarters.  I hope that they open up more locations in the US soon. Looking forward to hanging out with some of you on Thursday! <3
